Our commitment

Curbside Charm is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

What we’re doing

We’re working to make key parts of our site usable with assistive technologies and keyboard-only navigation. Ongoing efforts include:

  • Meaningful alt text for images and product photos

  • Clear headings and logical reading order

  • Sufficient color contrast (target ≥ 4.5:1)

  • Visible focus states and keyboard navigation for menus, buttons, and forms

  • Labels, instructions, and error messages on forms

  • Captions/subtitles on marketing videos where practicable

  • Limiting motion and honoring reduced motion preferences where possible

  • Periodic checks with common screen readers and browsers

Conformance status

We’re working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Some pages or components may not fully meet the standard yet. We review new and existing content regularly and prioritize fixes based on usage and impact.

Known limitations & third-party content

Some features are provided by third parties (e.g., maps, embedded videos, payment gateways, social media widgets, scheduling tools). While we can’t control their code, we choose vendors that state accessibility goals and report issues to them when we find barriers. If you experience difficulty with any feature, contact us (below) and we’ll offer an alternative (for example, scheduling by phone/email, alternate maps or directions, or direct invoice links).

Compatibility

Our site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and operating systems. We aim to support assistive technologies such as NVDA/JAWS (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS). Some older browsers or unsupported extensions may affect accessibility.
